After years of experience in the Aesthetic Industry, Dr. Diana and Danielle saw the need to remind patients of their inner beauty and strive to provide well-rounded care for the mind, body, and soul. We provide a way for our clients to be their most authentic selves and do so with expert care and attention.
At Equanimity we want to help you step into your sovereignty so that with or without aesthetic treatments, you are always feeling confident and powerful. Live your truth and reveal yourself by allowing every perfectly imperfect version of yourself to thrive. Our goal is also to remove the shame associated with aesthetic treatments and say no to double standards and shame. No one need aesthetic treatments in the same way no one needs fancy cars, but when we take pride in the way we present ourselves then it can open up a universe of possibilities. We believe it is possible to stay grounded in humility, age gracefully, and still get Botox. The only restrictions here are the ones we put on ourselves.

Danielle Bruyn

Danielle is a physician assistant and co-owner of Equanimity Aesthetics. She is an advanced injector practicing aesthetics since 2015.
Prior to aesthetics, she has served her community through her work at Planned Parenthood where she learned how to safely hold space in order to provide empathetic and judgement free care for people experiencing crisis level situations. She has also worked in interventional pain management and understands the importance of managing pain in order to decrease stress, anxiety, and provide a more enjoyable experience. Danielle also strives to authentically connect and build trust with her patients in order to develop a uniquely tailored treatment plan.

Danielle opened Equanimity Aesthetics with her supervising physician, Dr. Diana Nguyen, and is thrilled to provide a unique experience for her patients.

Dr. Diana Nguyen
Dr. Diana Nguyen has been doing aesthetic medicine for over 20 years. With experience and drive for excellence, Dr. Nguyen has become an expert in helping her patients slow down the clock of time. With minimal pokes, and in combination with holistic approaches to faster healing, there is less chance for swelling and bruise.
In addition to neuromodulators, like Botox and Xeomin and fillers, such as Radiesse/ Juvederm/ Revanesse, and cosmetic PDO/PCL threads, Dr. Nguyen also does various lasers, including fractionated CO2 laser resurfacing, improving acne scars, wrinkles and pigmentation. The healing process is cut in half with Dr. Nguyen’s regimen of allopathic and holistic medicine.

After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at UCLA, Dr. Nguyen studied medicine at St. George’s University and then completed her residency at USC. During her residency, Dr. Nguyen spent much of her elective and vacation times studying and precepting with physicians in the field of aesthetic medicine.
Dr. Diana currently resides in Orange County with her husband of 22 years, with their two kids 16 and 18 years old, and 2 little dogs.​​​
A bit more about our Co-Founders' ETHOS...
Danielle opened Equanimity Aesthetics with her supervising physician, Dr. Diana Nguyen, and is thrilled to provide a unique experience for her patients. Danielle’s passions also include music, breath work, meditation, and trauma-informed somatic therapy.
She sees the value of these practices and holds classes, 1:1 sessions, and the occasional women’s circle. She is working to expand her services to include psychedelic guided therapy and somatics as well as curating classes to include men and children in order to encourage discussion, connectivity, and love of community.
She was inspired to do this work by her many incredible patients who were completely oblivious to their own strength and sovereignty. Danielle’s passion still lies in aesthetic medicine, but she has expanded her skill set to empower people from all backgrounds and remind them of their inner strength and beauty. As a self-proclaimed wild woman and goddess, she is excited to get you onboard so you can see those things in yourself, too.
Dr. Nguyen, aka Dr. Diana, is passionate about living young, healthy and free. She believes in preventative healthcare, and strives to motivate and encourage her friends, family and patients to maintain an active and youthful lifestyle. She also advocates living free and true to one’s heart, drawing from her own childhood that it is so important to encourage your children and loved ones to follow their dreams, and to be passionate about what they do.
