Self-Care Tips

- Take care of your physical body as you would your house or car. Your body is a temple that houses your soul and should be treated with kindness and respect. Get regular check ups, seek addiction counseling, and strive to make slow and steady changes over time.

- Listen to uplifting music, be selective in media you consume, use affirmations, mediate, exercise, do breathwork, engage and hobbies and creative projects that light you up.

- Consider therapy if you have low feelings of self-worth. We offer trauma-informed somatic therapy sessions in order to help you discover the power that lies within and remind you of your ability to heal yourself, your children, and the collective. Deep shadow work can be life-changing but heavy and should be done with the guidance of a professional.

- Volunteer your time or money if possible. Volunteering keeps us grounded in reality and helps us see past ourselves so we can understand the ways in which we are all connected. Follow your local animal shelter or food bank for regular volunteer opportunities.

- Reconnect with nature. Take a walk, sit outside and have conversations with the moon and stars at night, get a pet if you able to responsibly care for one, or even hug a tree. I'm serious...do it... hug a tree or stand barefoot in the grass and feel the negativity melt away.

- Embrace your sexuality with courses, music, open communication with your partner, and dont' be afraid to experiment. I love boudoir photoshoots and can refer you to some amazing photographers that will help to get you feeling sensual, ecstatic, and sexier than you have ever felt.

- Most importantly: Find the magic in each and every day, set strong boundaries for yourself, speak your truth, and breath before reacting. We are the creators of our realities and no one else can improve our lives but us. Take charge and watch the magic unfold.
